I have come to realize that most things that most of society accepts as truth because some expert has declared it to be so….is nowhere near the real truth….it is only a way to market whatever product, book or person that is the flavor of the month.
As far as “child abuse”, we have to take a look around us and realize that not letting our kids know who is in charge (because WE MUST BE due to our age and life experience) allows them to think they are. If it makes sense to someone that a child should be able to control an adult because the adult is scared to ruffle the child’s feathers than maybe the kid should be in charge.
On the other hand, controlling our kids to the point of micro managing them, in my opinion, is true mental abuse due to the fact that this can result in poor decision making capabilities, the inability to express self and low self esteem.

I am so happy to read this because I always say this to people and most people think I am crazy. I grew up with a mother that was not so into hygiene and I (thank God) am quite healthy and have never had to take antibiotics for anything….another problem that we have in America – the overuse of antibiotics necessitating stronger and stronger doses.
Without a doubt we are a chemically dependent society and that can’t be a good thing.

Oh my God! You are going to pass on my opinions to your legal team. Well – I guess my opinion ruffled a few feathers if your only defence is to bluster and threaten me.
As a courtesy to Dave I was going to remove this post but I now feel compelled to leave it!
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you are advertising a lottery and calling it a competition. My only objection was the lack of honesty – advertising a lottery or a lucky draw would have been honest and acceptable.
If you are good at what you do, how come you don’t know what a competition is?
I look forward to hearing from your legal team and have them explain to me how they are going to do anything at all about my freely stated opinions. For their information, in Spain, they would have to bring a charge of calumny and prove it.
While your legal team is checking into any wrong doing on my part, maybe they can look up the definition of phishing.
I will not be contacting my own legal representatives because I feel your threat is empty and unfounded – and not a little silly.

Well for 1, I would say that your idea of the competition being a phishing excercise is just your jealousy of not being the person to have thought of running such a competition.

The competition is about brand awareness. A retailer who are well known to a few and want to get their name out there to the masses advertise. What is the best form of advertisement? Social networks and marketing.

The question is a simple one as it doesn’t need to be difficult. All that is requested is a simple entry process. At the same time as answering the question, the entrants are viewing other items, so perhaps they won’t purchase one in the future, but hey, they see what is on offer. That is not phishing in any shape or form.

That is logic. Something which you obviously have little of to be making such remarks public without thinking them through.

There is no purchase necessary. There are no stipulations for the entry such as ensuring they are liking a social network, minimum purchases, etc. All the entrant does is looks at the prize and answers.

And as for your comment:

-I would strongly suggest this is removed. Not only am I qualified, and am good at what is done, there are no promises, the customer is not “enticed” into anything, there are no promises of sales and the email is on opt out email.

Perhaps you should do more research before letting your fingers do the talking. I would appreciate this post being removed, and you can rest assured all details have been collected and passed to our legal team.

Just wanted to say hello. Your comments are one of the few things I miss after leaving apsense. I hope you will visit kooiii.com once more. The dark lay out has gone so I think you can read all now much better. All former admins of apsense are now admins at kooiii.
